CLEANER: Father Offline
Clean. Repair. Salvage. Survive.
CLEANER: Father Offline is a third-person sci-fi action-adventure where cleaning is combat, maintenance tools are weapons, and a custodial robot must adapt far beyond its original programming to survive an alien catastrophe.
You are CLEANER — a humanoid service robot built for sanitation, environmental cleanup, and routine facility maintenance. After an alien vessel devastates the lunar colony of Kessler Station, routine work orders become matters of life and death.
Remove contamination. Restore damaged systems. Search ruined sectors for survivors and supplies. Upgrade your tools. Fight increasingly dangerous alien organisms with equipment that was absolutely not approved for this purpose.
Your programming says to clean the colony.
Your circumstances require a broader interpretation.
Cleaning Is Combat
Contamination is more than decoration left behind after a fight. Alien growth, hazardous fluids, debris, damaged infrastructure, and environmental threats directly affect the spaces around you.
Clean during exploration and combat to restore safe routes, expose resources, disable biological advantages, reactivate equipment, and change battlefield conditions.
A clean floor is a tactical advantage.
Weaponize the Tool Cart
CLEANER was not designed as a combat unit.
Fortunately, industrial equipment is remarkably versatile.
Adapt custodial and maintenance tools into an expanding combat arsenal. Use mops for sweeping melee attacks, pressure systems to stagger and strip defenses, vacuums to manipulate enemies and projectiles, cutting tools to remove hardened threats, and diagnostic equipment to exploit machines and environmental systems.
Every tool should still perform a useful job.
Some jobs now involve aliens.
Some cleaning tasks now involve fully automatic energy weapons.
Restore Kessler Station
The colony is damaged, contaminated, partially inaccessible, and rapidly becoming something it was never designed to be.
Explore interconnected maintenance areas, habitation sectors, hydroponics, industrial facilities, laboratories, quarantine zones, defense systems, crash sites, and spaces transformed by alien biology.
Repair machinery. Reroute power. Restore environmental systems. Open new paths. Recover records. Search for survivors. Determine what happened.
Then decide what needs cleaning next.
Adapt Your Hardware
Recover scrap, modules, components, data, and unfamiliar technology to expand CLEANER's capabilities.
Upgrade your chassis, battery systems, diagnostics, mobility, contamination handling, repair equipment, and individual tools with modifications that change how they function.
Build a loadout around direct combat, environmental control, exploration, repair, efficiency, or increasingly unauthorized interpretations of custodial procedure.
Activate Father Protocol
Something happened during CLEANER's interrupted activation.
Something that was not in the specifications.
As CLEANER attempts to process loss using corporate maintenance logic, grief becomes another operational problem requiring a solution.
That solution is called Father Protocol.
It is not subtle.
Corporate Property. Emergent Personality.
Discover Kessler Station through damaged environments, maintenance logs, corporate records, survivor encounters, robot communications, personal effects, and CLEANER's increasingly questionable self-diagnostics.
The story blends sci-fi horror, action, environmental storytelling, corporate satire, deadpan robotic humor, and a sincere emotional core as an ordinary service machine becomes something its designers never intended.
CLEANER was built to remove messes.
The definition of "mess" has changed.
And save Matilda.
