The Story Behind the Song
The direct answer to the title track, and its twin -- same diagnosis, opposite prescription. Where "This Big Broken World" shrugs, "Take It Back" argues that indifference is a choice, and a reversible one: check on a neighbor, push back gently on the people spreading more noise than help. It's the album's one moment of actual hope for repair rather than just naming the damage.
